The Climate-Conscious Writers Handbook

Cover design by Rosemary Linnell

Are you a writer who’s worried about the environment? Would you like to learn how to weave climate themes into genres like romance, thrillers or literary fiction? This beautiful journal is for you!

This playful, interactive handbook is designed to support you through every stage in the writing process – from first idea to drafting and querying. This is for writers of any kind of book who want to talk about climate change. It will demystify the process, build confidence and help us to journey collaboratively together.

You have permission to write a story about the climate crisis. You don’t need expertise in science. You don’t need to consider yourself an activist. You only need to be creative and imaginative.
